Spine Surgeon
Orthopedics Northwest, PLLC is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to provide high quality orthopedic spine care to the Yakima Valley at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital. Enjoy the support of a full spectrum of subspecialty partners within this collegial private practice group, including sports medicine, hand surgery, total joints, trauma, and general orthopedics. Orthopedics Northwest is a well established practice that has been serving Central Washington for over 50 years. Community based spine practice focused on treating bread and butter adult degenerative spine conditions. Opportunities exist to work with medical students from the nearby Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences as well as Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program, if interested.
The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional work week and occasional for call. Potential for a creative work schedule. Expected spine and general orthopedic call responsibility for this opportunity is approximately 5 days per month. We are also actively recruiting for physician assistants to round out the practice. Qualifications:
· Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
· Successful completion of an ACGME accredited orthopedic residency program
· Board eligible/board certified orthopedic surgeon
· Completion of and orthopedic spine fellowship, willing to consider new graduates
· License in the state of WA by time of employment
· Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
· Current BLS
